I'm Cannon Hackett, a writer and publisher. I come from an engineering background, which included earning a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas. For most of my life, I've enjoyed reading good books and magazines. Although online essays and articles can also be interesting, I've found that there's something special about the experience of reading in print – a certain concreteness that digital forms lack. I started Bifold Market to make it easy for independent writers to publish their short-form writing in a high-quality print format. Besides running this website, I also write The Fourpager and Molecular Sagas.
